Recently, Rob Houghton, principal of motion graphics design firm Houghton Media asked…
I would love to go to motion09 this year, but need to keep the cost below $2500. Do you have any cost-saving resources so I can attend motion09?
This year we worked hard to provide options for attendees to attend at the lowest possible cost. Here are some ways to keep your costs down:
• purchase an {e}ticket for $399. This is our no-frills pass which includes 4-days of amazing content. The sessions included in both the {m}ticket and the {e}ticket are identical!
• by taking advantage of our group rate, you can stay at the ABQ Doubletree for $119 a night (regularly $175 and up). To lower hotel costs even more, share a room.
• go to southwest.com and download their Ding application. Then watch for specials to ABQ. Rob, it looks like you are in the Portland area? Looking on southwest.com – you can travel to ABQ for $99 each way!
$399 – conference
$119 x 5 = $595 – hotel
$198 – airfare
Total $1192*. I don’t think you could attend any conference for less than that!
We look forward to meeting you at motion09!
*prices do not include tax. flights on Southwest start at $49 one way. with pricing like this, you’d be silly not to attend!
